New Garage Doors Vancouver ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through newgaragedoorsvancouver.ca, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the callback/quote form we collect your name, phone number, email, and preferred call time. If you apply through "Become a partner", we collect your business name, contact name, email, phone, location, experience, the services and trades you offer, your credentials, and any notes you add.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host's servers log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
- Cookies & analytics. The site itself does not set advertising cookies today. If and when we turn on Google Analytics and Google Ads, those services may place cookies to measure traffic and ad performance (including remarketing). See "Advertising & analytics" below.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and call you back, and to provide estimates and in-home consultations.
- To review and follow up on partner/contractor applications.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
- To meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations.
We only use your information for the purposes you'd reasonably expect, or as permitted by law.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — for example our web host and email provider (Hostinger) — who may process data on our behalf.
- Advertising & analytics partners such as Google, if/when those tools are active (see below).
- Authorities where required by law.
Advertising & analytics
We plan to advertise online. When active, Google Ads and Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to understand site traffic and to show you our ads on Google and partner sites (remarketing). You can control or opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at Google's privacy & terms. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
How we protect your information
The site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, fulfil your project, and meet legal or warranty requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your choices & rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@newgaragedoorsvancouver.ca and we'll respond within a reasonable time. You may also unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites (such as manufacturers or Google). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
